Man I had a whole bunch to write and now nothing comes to mind.

Hunh...what to say.

My mom semi-crashed my car. I let her drive it and she sideswiped someone on the freeway. She's okay, but the car is kinda fucked up. Woohoo. Dad is furious, predictably.

I'm psyched about the new NOFX EP coming out on March 14th. Its where the quote above comes from. I heard it on XM Radio, the song is Seeing Double at the Red Rock, I think. Very good stuff.

I'm heading off to Austin College to hang out with David for a week over Spring Break, which I'm excited as hell about. Its going to be so awesome. I'll meet all his friends and we'll generally cause beer fueled mayhem. Thats the best kind of mayhem.

Oh yeah, Campos' 18th birthday was on Saturday and they forgot me. That made me mad. All week I was thinkin about how great these guys are and how they're my best friends and they just up and forget me. Bah. Not Campos' fault, it was a surprise party, but...I didn't get the call till about 11:30 - midnight and by then my parents wouldn't let me go out. So I missed what was apparently a fantastic fucking party. That sucked.

I'm valedictorian of my senior class. Woohoo.


I'm working dilligently on my Senior Project, which is a project all seniors have to do at my school to graduate. Sort of like a thesis. Big ol' paper and a powerpoint presentation to the whole school, on whatever we want. Predictably, I'm doing mine on the history of Punk Rock.

Thats what I've found I can identify with now. I always had to grope and search for some kind of...thing I could belong to. Not a clique or anything, not a 'scene', but like how Sara is a feminist and Lyn is all Irish-heratige and stuff. I've found punk is my outlet.

And for all you who are thinking of writing a big ass thing about 'conforming' and 'non-conforming' and posers and 'the scene', shut the fuck up. I don't wanna hear it. I like the music, I like hanging out with people that identify themselves as punks. Leave this pretentious exclusionary elitist indier-than-thou bullshit at the door and just have fun god damnit.

Fuck.

School has been annoying as hell lately. I've grown to hate almost everyone there except for a few people. You know who you are.

I'm just kinda whittling away my time until I get to college here. Serving my time. I'm done with school. I'm in college, I'm valedictorian, we've got a college 'pay-for' plan lined up. Its a foregone conclusion that I'm going to pass.

Just goin' through the motions.
